I'm Britney.

I’m a product designer, illustrator, and 2020 UVA computer science grad (1 year early!). I started out my career pursuing software engineering, but I've been designing my whole life. After a summer as an engineering intern at Facebook, I realized I could combine my love for design with my love for tech as a product designer. Since then, I've sought every opportunity to learn about design, solve challenging problems, and create for others.

When it comes to design, I believe that advocating for users first will lead to the most successful products. I consider myself to be T-shaped designer in many different aspects: my strongest skills are in design, but I love leading user research sessions, as well as being highly involved in the development process. I'm both an artist and a systems thinker: I like to look at the big picture while making sure the small details bring delight.

I'm a proud new cat mom to a black kitten named Sabi (say-bee)! I love digital illustration, 3D modeling, experimenting with fiber art, and trying to make homemade bubble tea.
